Who we are

CashToday.co.za is a South African loan comparison and referral service. When life throws an unexpected expense at you — a burst geyser, a car repair, school fees — finding a trustworthy lender quickly can be stressful. We built Cash Today to take that stress away.

Instead of applying at five different lenders and hoping for the best, you tell us once what you need. We instantly compare your requirements against our network of credit providers registered with the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and show you the offers most likely to work for you.

What we believe

• Credit should be transparent. Every offer we show links directly to the lender, where all costs must be disclosed upfront as required by the National Credit Act.
• Comparison should be free. You will never pay us anything. We earn a commission from lenders — and that never changes the rate you're offered.
• Everyone deserves a chance. A past default shouldn't lock you out of credit forever. We include lenders who look at your full picture, not just your credit score.
• Borrowing should be responsible. A loan is a tool, not a lifestyle. We publish clear cost examples and always point users in financial difficulty to the NCR and registered debt counsellors.

What we are not

We are not a lender. We don't make credit decisions, we don't hold your loan agreement, and we never handle your money. Your credit agreement is concluded directly with the NCR-registered lender you choose, subject to their affordability assessment and terms.

How Cash Today works

Our service is built around one idea: you should only have to apply once. Here's how it works from your side:

2. We match you. Your details are checked against our network of NCR-registered lenders, and we rank the offers most likely to approve you by cost, speed and eligibility.
3. You choose. Compare your matches side by side, pick the lender that suits you, and complete your application on their secure site. Your credit agreement is always directly with the lender.

Comparing your options through Cash Today has no impact on your credit score — a lender only runs a formal check once you proceed with a full application.
